TIGER MEET OF THE AMERICAS
Welcome to the Tiger Meet Of The Americas website. The TMOTA is a biennial gathering of units sharing a Tiger or big cat emblem, or heraldry, in North America.

The aim of the TMOTA is simple, attendees gather for a week of intensive flying and socialising to create a strong peacetime bond between NATO partners, as well as a stronger understanding of tactics and weapons systems between the participating nations and units.

This unofficial web resource aims to bring you news and reviews of past, present and future Tiger Meets in North America as well as reports from Tiger squadrons connected with the TMOTA.

Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 (VMFA(AW) 224) are known as the 'Bengals' and have a rich history that can be traced back to 1942. Currently homebased at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, the units F/A-18D Hornet flagship proudly displays its tiger stripes in this recent photo courtesy of Jonathan Derden. The Bengals would be a fine addition to the TMOTA club.
